Goal Keeper and Goal Defender Shaquanda Green-Noel has been announced as a signing for Celtic Dragons and will be competing in the Vitality Netball Superleague in the United Kingdom this upcoming season.
Celtic Dragons has had history with Trinidad and Tobago players in the past, most recently with Kalifa McCollin, who played with the club in 2016 and 2017 and then again in 2019.
Greene-Noel is currently in Jamaica preparing for the upcoming Margaret Beckford Sunshine Series which will run from the 16th to the 20th October at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Jamaica.
The series will feature the Trinidad and Tobago Calypso Girls and the Jamaica Sunshine Girls as well as two exhibition games featuring the Jamaica Men’s National Netball Team. South Africa was originally to be in the series but had withdrawn due to Jamaica’s rising number of Covid-19 cases.
