Trinidad and Tobago’s Under 17 team’s championship ambitions came to an end over the weekend as they were eliminated by El Salvador in the Round of 16 after a fierce fight that took extra time to decide the winner.
They didn’t win any games and trailed in most of their games, especially against CONCACAF giants Canada and the United States, but they gave spirited performances and displayed a “no quit” attitude, fighting until the ref blew the whistle.
