Trinidad and Tobago big man Jabari Narcis got his first G League start for the Mexico City Capitanes on Sunday night against the Austin Spurs at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Austin Texas.
Narcis’ first time manning the starting Center spot for the Capitanes ended with him notching his first G League Double-Double with 22 points off 9-15 shooting (4-7 3-pointers) and 12 rebounds. He also had 2 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal.
The Capitanes after leading for much of the game ended up losing to the Spurs 112-110 behind San Antonio Spurs’ first round rookie Josh Primo’s game high 28 points.
Narcis and the Capitanes will play the Spurs again on Thursday at 9:30 pm on ESPN+
