Trinidad and Tobago goal-shooter/goal-attack Kalifa McCollin has signed on to play in Australia with Suncorp Super Netball team, the Collingwood Magpies for 2021, after playing for the Southern Steel of the ANZ Premiership in New Zealand.
The 25 year old out of Valsayn had an impressive 2020 season, scoring 262 goals for the Steel (6th in the league) and had a goal percentage of 83.7%.
On the move to Collingwood, Kalifa tweeted, “Looking forward to once again being able to expand and grow my game as I move on to a new environment with new challenges no doubt.”

Before her stint with the Southern Steel, Kalifa McCollin also played 3 seasons in the Vitality Netball Superleague in the United Kingdom with the Sacarens Mavericks and the Celtic Dragons from 2017 to 2019.
In 2019, McCollin represented Trinidad and Tobago at the Netball World Cup in Liverpool, her second stint with the Calypso Girls after the 2015 World Cup in Sydney, Australia. She also represented Trinidad and Tobago in the 2013 World Netball Youth Cup before making her way to the senior squad. She also played for the University of Trinidad & Tobago (UTT) at the Nelson-hosted Super Club tournament in 2017.
