Watch: Kevin Molino Braces FC Dallas At The Club

Kevin Molino, after not finding the back of the net last weekend against Real Salt Lake, made up for it with 2 goals for Minnesota United FC in their rematch against FC Dallas, this time at home at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Molino’s first goal comes at the result of some quick and exquisite passing by the Loons. 28 minutes in with Minnesota already leading 1-0, Robin Lod plays it to Emanuel Reynoso, who finds Romain Métanire outside the box. Lod runs into the box at this time, drawing the eyes of the defenders, as Métanire looks to pass, no one eyes Molino entering the box. Métanire finds him and Molino hits it first time towards the bottom left corner of the goal.

Later in the 69th minute, Romain Métanire draws a penalty for Minnesota. Molino puts it straight down the middle for his 2nd goal of the night. He would be later taken off in the 86th minute for Bakaye Dibassy. Game would end in favor of Minnesota United 3-2.

And as for Man of the Match? Too easy a decision to make:

Minnesota United have now won back to back games and at the moment on top of the Western Conference with games still to play in the matchweek. Minnesota’s next game is against Sporting Kansas City this Sunday at 8:30 pm.
