Trinidadian-born basketball player Johnny Hamilton and his club Darüşşafaka Tefken Istanbul opened their 2019-2020 EuroCup season yesterday with a win against Slovenian team Olimpija with a score of 79-73.
In 26 minutes of gametime, Hamilton tallied 9 points, 8 rebounds (4 four on the offensive glass) and rejected 3 shots to help keep Olimpija at bay while they secure the win over their group C opponent.
Darüşşafaka’s next game is this coming Saturday when they play Turkish Super League opponents Bursapor at 10:30 am (local time).
