Ezeoha Santiago is a 6’4″ 200lb. guard that was recently recruited to play college basketball at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. He played high school basketball with the Lee College Runnin’ Rebels in Baytown, Texas.

Born in Belmont, in Trinidad and Tobago, Santiago currently resides in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He was awarded an athletic scholarship to Lee College in Texas, following his participation in the Caribbean Hoopos 25/8 Exposure Camp in 2016.He also played for 3Kings Prep Basketball Academy in his native Windsor.

The first thing that jumps off from his highlights is his three point shooting, which Rebel’s basketball coach Roy Champagne had emphasized that it was an area that he had been working on in his time at Lee College. He also appears to be a multidimensional scorer, seen taking the ball to the basket, as well as posting up on opponents as well. He’s alo taken up a leadership role on his teams, coaching players up, running plays and organizing his teammates on defense

Ezeoha Santiago is yet another basketballer player with Trinidad and Tobago roots that we hope to see him succeed in this next step of his basketball journey. Hopefully he could play basketball in the NBA or Europe like fellow Trinidadian basketballers Leston Gordon, Kyle Rowley and Chervelle Cox in Spain, and Johnny Hamilton in Turkey.
