In just his second start in the 2. Bundesliga, Joevin Jones scores his first goal for his new team SV Darmstadt 98 against opponents FC St. Pauli on Sunday.
Jones received the pass from teammate and Darmstadt loanee Ji Dong-won and had the real estate to dribble the ball to his spot and scores from outside the box to put his team in front, six minutes into the game. The game would end 1-0 in favor of the Lillies.

Unfortunately for Jones, he didn’t make it out of the half after suffering an injury seven minutes before halftime.
Joevin Jones also became the first Trinbagonian player to score in a German League, according to OptaFranz.
SV Darmstadt will face off against MSV Duisburg this Sunday. It is unsure whether Joevin Jones will play in that game.
